Hello Friends, Colleagues and supporters,
In a short time, we did a lot of things to legalize a nonprofit organization. We currently have all legal requirements for Charitable Organization for Vietnamese Education and Sustenance (COVES Charity). Our nonprofit organization is registered and approved by New Jersey and at the Federal Level. Now, we can reach out asking for contributions and all donations are tax deductible.
As you are aware of last Friday, we gathered with friends, supporters, and COVES Board Members to celebrate the official establishment of the COVES Charity at Chickie and Pete’s and kickoff the first official fundraiser. I would like to thank all attendees for sparing your times to have lunch and celebrated with us. Pictures will be posted later on the COVES website.
Now, the fundraiser for an education campaign is opened NOW to 07/31/2019 to accept donations for children in Vietnam. Your kindness will be grateful and remembered, those children will have an opportunity to go to school and escape generations of poverty. I also ask you to spread the words to others; the more people support, the more kids will have better lives.
I am attaching a bilingual poster in Vietnamese and English here. You might see this poster in some grocery stores or restaurants. If you can help, please print out and distribute. For more information, visit the COVES website.
For contributions, please write a check which will be your receipt for annual tax deduction or we will issue a receipt upon request. We are trying to make it a simple and clear process as much as we can. All donations will be posted and sent out weekly for transparency.
Tech Center/Local: Write a check to the COVES Charity and give to Tan H. Nguyen (President) or Kelly A. Forrester (Treasurer). Cash contributions are accepted, we will give you a receipt.
